In the grounds of the large Scherer millstone quarry, the STEINBRECHERHAUS, built around 1802, has been preserved almost in its original state. In 2006, the "Steinbrecherhaus Association" acquired the house and carefully restored it. The Steinbrecherhaus was opened in 2007 as a millstone museum and a venue for cultural events.

The open-air site is freely accessible at all times.
The millstone quarry and the stone crusher house can also be visited as part of a stone crusher walk.
