The Sigmund Freud Private University (SFU) has been officially accredited under Austrian law since 2005 with branches in Vienna, Linz, Paris, Berlin, Milan and Ljubljana.

The Sigmund Freud Private University is a private university accredited under Austrian law. It offers degree programmes in Vienna as well as in Linz, Berlin, Ljubljana, Milan and Paris. As an accredited university, the SFU is authorised to offer academic education at Bachelor's and Master's level within the framework of the Bologna criteria, as well as the right to award doctorates and habilitations.
