Municipality of Ansfelden

Ansfelden is located in Upper Austria in the central region. On an area of about 32 square kilometres, about 18,000 inhabitants live in 14 districts. The largest district is Haid, where about 8,000 people live. The urban area borders the cities of Traun and Linz, the municipalities of St. Florian, Neuhofen, Pucking and St. Marien. Ansfelden is located on the A1, A25 and A7 motorways, which are connected to the inner-city road network via the "Traun" and "Ansfelden" junctions. The Pyhrnbahn railway crosses the urban area and offers access to the S-Bahn system at the two stops "Ansfelden" and "Nettingsdorf". There are bus connections to the neighbouring municipalities and towns of Traun, Pucking, St. Marien and Linz.
