24h hike
on the Donausteig

The 24-hour hike on the Donausteig around the Danube Loop inspires around 120 participants every year. They take up the challenge and hike for 24 hours around the natural wonder of the Danube Loop in Schlögen.

Divided into a day and night tour, the participants cover around 65 kilometres on the Donausteig stages and the Donausteig circular routes. The start and end point is the Riverresort Donauschlinge. Numerous refreshment stations along the route provide refreshments for the participants during the 24-hour hike, and the hike can come to a cosy end with a breakfast together at the Riverresort Donauschlinge.
