After the founding of the "Association for the Restoration and Preservation of the Hammerschmiede in St. Agatha" in 1993, the restoration of the hammer mill in Wiesenparz, which was on the verge of collapse, began.

By the year 2000, the entire building had been renovated, new waterwheels installed, water supplied and it was possible to start show operation. Visits are possible by appointment at the municipal office or with the chairman Ludwig Eichinger, Riesching 19, Tel.: 07277/8650
