The mighty Pankrazkirche was built 1000 years ago and was long regarded as an important place of pilgrimage. Today, the small Pankraz Chapel can be found not far from this site, under whose altar a spring rises. Its water is said to have healing powers, which is why visitors fill their bottles at the moss-covered grander. The rest area is located in a shady clearing and can be reached via a meadow path in snow-free weather. A walk through the neighbouring nature reserve "Kleines Kösslbachtal" with its wild and romantic forests and striking rock formations is well worthwhile!
